Terms of Service
Draft content — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page describes our actual data practices but still needs legal review, and the bracketed placeholders below (company name, address, contact email, jurisdiction) filled in, before this site accepts real users or payments.

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using MyPersonalQR, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. The service
MyPersonalQR lets you create static QR codes (which encode your content directly, e.g. a URL or Wi-Fi network) and dynamic QR codes (which point at a hosted landing page whose content you can edit later without reprinting the code), plus scan analytics for dynamic codes.
3. Accounts & plans
The Starter plan is free (1 QR code, 500 scans/month). Paid plans (Basic, Pro, Business) raise those limits and add features, billed monthly or annually in advance. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard.
Your dynamic codes never stop working because of billing. If your plan lapses, is downgraded, or a payment fails, an already-printed dynamic QR code keeps redirecting to its landing page — we pause premium features (like detailed analytics or editing beyond your new plan's limits) rather than breaking a code someone already scanned or printed.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use MyPersonalQR to encode or host content that is illegal, phishing or otherwise deceptive, malware or a redirect to malware, infringing of someone else's rights, or intended to harass or harm others. We may suspend or remove a QR code or account that violates this, with notice where practical, and we screen destination URLs against known-malicious-site lists on a best-effort basis.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you put into your QR codes. By publishing a dynamic QR code, you grant us the limited license needed to host, display, and serve that content as part of the service (e.g. rendering your menu or vCard page when someone scans it). We don't claim ownership of it and don't use it for anything beyond operating the service for you.
6. Cancellation & refunds
Cancel a paid plan at any time; you keep access through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. New paid subscriptions are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee — contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. [This section states a general position only — the specific limitation-of-liability and warranty disclaimer language must be finalized by counsel for your jurisdiction before launch.]
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
